I just did. "Gamebuyers" aka Buyrite had sealed Border Downs on ebay for $37.48 BIN. Yeah, I took a chance despite swearing to never deal with these assholes again. I hope I get the game...

I'll never understand why some people have to take risk
buying from seller with so many neg feedbacks
in more than 2 years of e-bay bids I've never had problems....
just bought from sellers with no more and no less than 20-1000 feedbacks 100% positive
and never sold to people with less than 10 positive feedbacks
in this case then....
BD is not that rare
and in general
if you have patience you'll find everything you want

NCSX wants $60 for this game, and is sold out I might add. That's the cheapest price for a new version I have yet to see. I figured by using ebay and Paypal I will be covered one way or the other. Hopefully the case won't get cracked by shoddy shipping.

I played the same roulette recently (they had a sweet deal on some GC imports, saved me $40 over any other place).
In any case I knew what I was doing and the results are (no need to flame me I know I am a morom sometimes) :
- I called first to make sure all 3 games I wanted were in stock (they confirmed).
- I ordered by phone and asked items to be shipped the same day (they agreed).
- I called everyday (twice each) to make sure the games were shipped.
- after 5 days they finally shipped them (I guess they gt annoyed w/ me calling all the time).
- only received 2 games although I ordered 3 and they confirmed all in stock !!! (still saved $20 over any other store but lost a game in the battle).
- After being promissed to be credited for $20 10 days ago I have been calling twice a day.
- finally spoke to the manager yesterday (the girl on the phone got annoyed and did not know what to answer). He first thought my order was not shipped (I should have just shut up and let them ship it again) well after explaining myself he promised I would get my money back on monday.
- You can be sure they'll get their 2 calls on monday and my final resource will be BBS (2/3 of all reports to BBS have been settled).

Man...I don't care if they have it for $5 I'll NEVER buy ANYHTING FROM THEM AGAIN!!! I used to order from them in the Saturn days and they were okay till they shipped my games in a box with no protection (sealsed games in a empty box)...the games cases where shattered but that god the games were not scratched...
after that...never again...

Update time.
-3 weeks after I Paypaled them, still no game. I emailed them asking if my game had shipped. They responded in two days saying they recieved my payment (duh!), please be patient, etc.
-26 days after payment I emailed again, politely asking for a tracking number. I also indicated I would file a complaint with Paypal if I didn't get the game in 3 days or less. They never responded.
-30 days after payment, I filed with Paypal. I get an email from Gamebuyers the same day saying the items were shipping, and I could either wait, or get a full refund. I decided to wait a couple more days since my complaint with PP was already in.
-31 days. Paypal emails me regarding the investigation. Gamebuyers has provided them with a tracking number from UPS. The tracking number doesn't work yet on their website, so I assume it was just sent today.
Was saving $22 worth the hassle of having to deal with these people, and wait a full month to get the game worth it? I don't know yet, it depends on the condition of the game when I finally do recieve it. I can say this: I will never be buying anything from them again.
