I just decided not to vote. PC is king if you want to play online.

A rather silly poll, methinks. Only one system in that list even committed to Online play in a level that is at least as much as the Dreamcast did, back in its day. If you use the Dreamcast as a comparison bed, it's not even a contest.

Dreamcast.

I mean, really, I hate the X-Box lineup and think it's a crappy system, but GC has little to no online play (unless you're a Phantasy Star fanboy), and PS2 has scatterbrained confusing online support. We know the -Box has best online support, but frankly I already use my pc online.

X-Box is still just a watered-down PC.

Xbox, without question. Even if the PC was an option, I would still go with XBox; It just currently has more games that I want to play online, and they all have voice support.

Was the Sega Channel even on the Saturn? I thought it came out just for the Genesis, and even then, you didn't play online, you just downloaded games.

No offense, but this really is a stupid poll. It's a way for a fanboy to make known how superior "his" system is to the others.

I mean, come on. This is a joke, right? GCN has what, 2 games online, maybe 3? Why's it even on the list? As far as I am concerned, it's not even an on-line system at this point!

And the PS2? Sure it's free, but how many people actually use it? It's a gimmick/fad and it died pretty damn quickly, all things considered. How many games are online for the PS2? Not that many either.

The X-Box was built with live in mind, thus it has more/better online content. Gee, what a surprise. MS builds ethernet into the system with online gaming in mind from the beginning, markets the shit out of online gaming and it has more than a handful of games that are online. You should have made this poll with 2 choices, since it's clear which would "win." X-Box, X-Box or X-Box.

lol that is just sad GC has more votes than PS2, when it's only online game isn't even an exclusive.

While PSO on Gamecube was more addictive than crack, the PS2 definitely has some quality online games. Still, they can't compare with the Xbox Live service. The unified gamer tag, friends list, Live aware games that allow you to recieve invites offline, and broadband only atmosphere can't be trumped by Sony's current online infrastructure.

Not to mention the overall quality of Live games is better. But I see by the poll I'm preaching to the choir.

Figures. Everytime anything involving Nintendo is mentioned you can find DashK right there along with chimp to bash it. I've actually seen DashK doing more of the bashing lately then I have chimp, and that's saying something. Creating threads simply to show off one of the few things his prefered system does best. Just to spite you, I'm going to vote Gamecube simply because their version of PSO is the less raped.
