Project Horned Owl.

For a few years I've been tracking down a copy of that game, and just earlier my search finally ended.

Didn't this game use its own type of light gun? I don't think it was compatible with the Gun Con.

Judging from the screen shots that I remember seeing of it, it looked a lot like an arcade light gun game I have played before. If its the same game, then I think it is pretty good.

HORNED OWL is still the bomb, even in 2K4! *The game is "almost" a dead ringer for the 1992 NAMCO arcade Gun Game Steel Gunner, except that it had an Anime opening, and cut scenes done by Masumune Shirow that just OWNED! ---I wouldn't say the game is great, but it's far from being bad either. If you're a fan of STEEL GUNNER then you'd love Horned Owl. Once you beat it though there isn't much replay value however.

Description: Based on a popular Japanese anime series called Policenauts, this on-rails first-person shooter gives gamers a glimpse of the future in amazing detail and visual acuity. The character artist from the popular anime Ghost in a Shell created the models for this game, so you can expect some well-drawn and highly detailed characters throughout the game. Putting you behind the controls of a giant mech, it's your duty to blast the evil forces that threaten the peaceful city that you serve. A tracking camera guides you through the 3D environments, as enemies pop up from behind every conceivable hiding place. The gun is accurate and easily calibrated, meaning you'll be blasting enemies with pinpoint precision.

If the link said it was from Konami, I wonder why the name didn't show up in copyright information and stuff like that.

BTW the ending theme song kicks ass. I beat that game in 97 (on a pad, I sucked with a gun then) and I remember the ending tune had some singing.
