I'm lookig into buying a controller for my computer. I've looked around and seen a few, the Logitech ones look nice but they're kinda pricey. Any suggestions?

The Saitek P2500 seems widely recommended.

I personally have a Saitek P2500! Its awesome.

Anyway I saw that EBgames and/or gamestop (sorry I can't recall exactly which), but they are selling an earlier version of the Saitek controller in the PC controllers section. As far as stuff you can buy from the local Wally world and or Target... ugh! Good luck. I tried out the Axis pad from Walmart... mediocre at best.

All I can say is, "You get what you pay for." So even thought the Saitek P2500 may be a bit more expensive than your average Wally World game pad, its worth it. IMHO

It depends what you're looking for exactly, I only really use my pad for emulation so I got the P880. The P880 seems identical to the P2500 except there's no rumble feature...although I could be wrong. You should be able to find these pads at your local Best Buy, Circuit City, Compusa, etc. They're very affordable.

I personally use the Firestorm Digital 2 controller. Lots and lots of buttons. Very flimsy though. I've gone through a few. Luckily they're like 10 dollars apiece. You might have trouble finding them now, they've been replaced with the vastly inferior, less buttony Digital 3.

Saitek all the way! i use the P880 which is pretty much the same as the P2500 just without rumble.

these are the best damn PC pads i've used in awhile[better then any of those crappy sidewinder's from Microsoft].

although i wish my 3DFX HammerheadFX pad had WinXP support. that one was pretty bad ass to.
