Just heard this from a co-worker about half an hour ago. I'm really bummed now. Spent my early years with Captain Kangaroo, Mr. Rogers, Sesame Street, and The Electric Company. At least most of the casts of those last two shows are still with us.

lol so did I. And I had no clue that he did the show for 30+ years! I mustve gotten bored of it and turned the channel when I was a kid because I thought it last like, 3.

I wonder if that 'Mr. GreenJeans' is still alive

I still find it odd that Mr. Rogers is dead

No, Mr. Greenjeans (Hugh Brannum) died of cancer in 1987.

Same here. At times it feels like I'm living on a completely different planet, after spending my first 31 years on the same planet as Fred Rogers. Too many of the TV personalities I grew up with have been passing on in recent years.

Im uh..... too young to have seen this show...... and there are no reruns....... so....... uh........ yeah..........
