Does anyone know anything about this $300 rig? I think it plays MVS carts on your TV. From what I understand it does this all by itself, not requiring any 1-slot MVS boards or anything like that. I don't really know much about MVS, but I'm looking to get into it and looking for some kind of system to run the carts. Any help would be much appreciated.

Thanks

STAY FAR AWAY FROM THE HGA!!!!!!!!

It's a big pile of steamy shit!!!

If you want a super gun go with either the Super Nova

<a href="http://www.massystems.com/SuperNova.html" target="_blank">http://www.massystems.com/SuperNova.html</a>

Or, if you want something smaller but more expensive and higher quality go with the Sigma at:
<a href="http://www1.ocn.ne.jp/~kaiten/sigma.htm" target="_blank">http://www1.ocn.ne.jp/~kaiten/sigma.htm</a>

Both sellers are kick ass and they both are great set ups.

The HGA is a nightmare!! Horrible resolution and it looks like it was pieced together with particle board....

Also, you MUST have a neo geo slot to play any neo geo games. AVOID the MVS B version!! The MVS 1-B is for trackball kits only!!

Basically what happens is you will connect your slot to the Jamma harness (a simple connector), plug in your game into the slot and turn on the power.

DIE HGA!! YOU HORRIBLE PIECE OF SHIT!! DIE!! <img src="graemlins/veryangry.gif" border="0" alt="[Very Angry]" /> <img src="graemlins/veryangry.gif" border="0" alt="[Very Angry]" /> <img src="graemlins/veryangry.gif" border="0" alt="[Very Angry]" />

Wow... well I was gonna post a topic asking which Supergun was better Mike, but I think you answered my question. Guess I'll be getting a Nova then.

And yes, Mike is correct. You will need to spend at least another $100-$150 for a one-slot MVS motherboard. Still, you will save so much more money on MVS carts versus home, especially for the rare titles.

How much do you usually charge to make one of these?

If you look around you can get an old 1 slot MVS board that lets you use the Home system joysticks on it , cool ,
