Fixing the PM box issue

My PM box is only at 14% and people are claiming its full. What can be done to fix this problem?

you might want to try going to the private message area, clicking on the sent mail forlder, and deleting all of the sent mail.

Also go to the Message Tracking area and end tracking on anything you don't want tracked. When sending PMs, uncheck the boxes at the bottom for storing the item in the Sent Message folder (unless you're doing transactions and want a record) and for tracking the messages (unless you need to know that they've been read). They're checked by default, unfortunately, so people wind up with a lot of clutter without realizing it.

Also, by default it only shows pm's from the last 30 days. Click show last year, and you should see more of them you never deleted before.

We should sticky this thread in the General Discussion area, since it seems to happen with nearly everyone. Would save time explaining it in the future.
