That was almost as interesting as the Virtual Boy. Now let's give Iwata a good loud "shuttup and lets hear about the next Game boy and Gamecube because this sounds like shit"

Theoretically it's the Virtual Boy's sucessor. A not so portable portable ;)

I agree...this thing sounds....well...useless....:(

In many ways I'm glad to know the mystery machine was not the much cooler sounding N5.

I hope they never bother to release this stupid machine in the US.

It actually sounds like an innovative idea, but get ready for another Nintendo platform with lackluster 3rd party support headed for a bargain bin near you.

Yes, I agree, this thing should stay clear away from any market...it's gonna be as popular as the overpriced "PSX"...Do we really need another add-on (or is it?)...but then again..what the hell were you smoking Nintendo?!

Anyone seen any rumored price point for this thing? Also what kind of games is it going to run? Completely new format or something that can be played on GCN or GBA but can be played BETTER on the DS. Think FF:CC 1 player is a GCN game but FF:CC 4 player with 4 game boys is the same game on DS. Completely different...

My typing is shit ^

Sounds like almost every other fucking non-platform Nintendo product.

An entire fucking product/product line built around a hazy and alltogether simplistic gimmick.

I don't entirely understnad the concept of this thing, I'm pretty confused actually, would be nice if they had some pictures. I like Virtual Boy anyways.

Gh3Y!!

You'd think after their first revolutionary device( aka Virtual Boy), they would immediately kill the next person that came up with another "revolutionary" idea...

the PSP just got a whole lot cooler....

Thats what I said. It sounds like there making a Game&Watch with an SP.

I don't see what I'd need 2 screens for in an action game. Unless they feel like doing a port of the six player XMen game.

Me neither. I don't really think it's gonna be natural to look back and forth from one screen to another. Nintendo's starting to worry me .... :( .

Virtual boy = fun to own
Also = bad idea in general

This is a lot worse an idea, especially since they're working on TWO OTHER platforms.

Man, this is NOT the news I was hoping for :(

I hope Nintendo doesn't alienate their marketshare even further with a risky venture like this. Hopefully there is more to this than meets the eye :eye: :eye:

Wow this thing sounds like utter shit.. I was hoping for something that would bring us into the 21st century.. not take a step back. How will a Dual Screen imporve the shitty gameplay we have had to deal with these days. I for one didn't care much at all but with this announcement im swaying towards getting a PSP. Way to go nintendo... another letdown.

Nintendo isn't at their best financial moment at the time... this is a little *risky*, the market doesn't need MORE failure portable systems.

Shitz ... and I was so excited for Nintendo with all these cool games coming out (MP 2, zero mission, MGS, etc.).

No way. This will never reach V-Boy's popularity.
