I'm so glad that I didn't pay $300+ for SVC Chaos

I got PS2 port instead.
Let me tell you something here, it's a very very very good port on PS2.

The problem is that I don't like control.
Control plays like CVS series and I just don't feel like playing it at all.

I miss old SNK fighting game........................

Fotunately I didn't spend $300 + for AES.........

Due to the immense contradiction you made in your post, you prove that it is a great thing for those who paid $300+ for their homecarts. Why waste $60 on a port that controls like shit and has apparent video problems?

I love my SvC homecart, and have no regrets. I enjoy playing games the way they were meant to be played...

I really have high hope on this title but problem is that it just doesn't play right.

You have no regret then that's fine. You are happy with your $300 AES cart. For me, I'm happy with my import PS2 port in hand. Because I pay less than $60 and definitely not $300.

I'm not that crazy. I'd rather spend $300 on old AES titles

I'm gonna have to agree with Liquid Snake, SVC is not worth 300+. The game is broken, fun with certain characters, but broken compare to most other NeoGeo games. Its like SNKP needed to push this game out. Personally, I think KOF 2003 should have been SvC and this fun, but broken game we have today known as SvC Chaos. Personally I still think CvS2 is still the on top of this Versus franchise of SNK/Capcom.

I don't mind the fact I bought SvCC new. For one thing, no load times, I get all the characters, I got to play it when I wanted to without waiting too long, and I can use my own neo sticks, which I prefer over anything I can use with my PS2.

The PS2 is a piece of trash anyways, Jung. You gotta sell that thing and start playing the real machine again.

Indeed PS2 controller isn't good for fighting game

I really want the original Neo AES but not SVCC. I might buy it just for display purpose.

SVCC doesn't play like either Capcom or SNK fighting game. It just doesn't feel right. I know it's hard to explain but that's how I feel.

Right now I'm saving money to buy the real SNK fighters like Breakers, Ninja Master....etc :drool_2:

Well, to be honest, I think SvC blows Breakers back into the stone age. But Ninja Masters is a classic that even KoF can't compete with.

Played a little bit more last night.
Still not that impressive but it's getting better IMO.
Correct me if I'm wrong that you can no longer do the grabbing/throwing? I just can't do any grabbing/throwing anymore.

Last boss Mr. Karate is a fuckin crazy character. I can barely beat him by using Ryu.

Hidden characters are funny though

LOL, I was thinking the same thing. Two button throws are nothing new, so it shouldn't take *that* long to get used to. I don't mind two button throwing in 2D games as it lessens the cheapness of throws. Not that I'm one of those little bitches that doesn't like throws in games, but it's better, I think.
