Enemy Territory Server. Come on in..

If you haven't played Enemy Territory for the PC ...you should.. It's the best thing since sliced bread and it's free! Some notes.. Yes it's a WWII Team-Based FPS. I personally think it takes teamplay to a whole new level due to it's class based system with its range of classes including: Soldier, Field Ops, Medic, Engineer and Covert Ops. That being said, it is not as easy to learn in one setting as some FPS. Once you learn it though, it's pure gold. Anyways, Myself and some friends are paying a large amt monthly for a web server and you might as well come and chew up our bandwidth!

I'm gonna tell my 14 year old brother Jack (Dan's Bro) about this, he likes FPSs and is looking for a new PC game to play.

I hope it runs well, our PC isn't too great but one can hope...

EDIT: Ah crud, looking at system requirements, these stick out:


* Intel® Pentium® III 600Mhz processor or AMD equivalent - 600 mhz celeron, may work ok...
* 128 MB RAM - we have half that
* 32 MB 100% fully OpenGL® compliant 3-D video card - UGH. We have some Intel chip built into our mobo that won't even work with UT (never loads, we have to use software rendering (works great though)).

If this supports some degree of software rendering we may be ok. Downloading it anyway.

Enemy Territory is definitely an awesome game, I've played quite a bit on the Langstas server (www.langstas.com) and basically played the game for nearly 6 months straight before moving on to Call of Duty.

Maybe I'll get back into it though if more people are interested, particularly since I've been such a RtCW/ET whore the last 2+ years...

It's located in Texas and hosted by Rackshack. It shares a DS3 with a couple of servers and has 12.5 mbit up and down connectivity. We're only limited to 700GB per month! So come on in, we never even make it close to that 700GB..
