Just played Crimson Skies against the top aces

I just got finished playing in a team dogfight with 'bigsmooth27' and 'urinalmint'

These guys are in the top 10 all time aces on live

They're good- and they all use Bulldog

I actually tied one of the motherfuckers with Fury

Indeed they do, and I get my ass handed to me a'plenty. It's still a gas though.

And BTW, neobuyer is an ace too. I had the pleasure becoming flaming wreckage at his hands a few times I think in a game we played last week.

I am just OK at CR right now, but I sure love playing. I am getting better. I can reliably stay about even in the kills to deaths ratio with sudden spurts of success. When I first started I was like, "Damn, I'm dead already?"

This ain't Mech Assault where you can get pounded and still have a reasonable chance of walking away. In this, if you are getting hit, odds are you are going down or will be near death if you manage to loose the attacker or turn on him.

But again, I'm not real good yet.

Great game though and fast paced.

Yea I played against bigsmooth, he's pretty good.

I can't figure out how they do so good with Bulldog. I'd figure the shotgun like weapon would destroy at close range, but when I picked it and did just that, it still took 3 shots to kill. Sometimes it seems like I get hit with one of those and I'm done.

But yea, awesome game.

Time to go out for a bit, might play some more later.

I think I'll jump on for a bit. I'm a little rusty, as I took a month break from Live, but with some practice I might give you guys some competition.

I tend to play team dogfight

regular dogfight is just so.. chaotic- too much of a free-for-all

I do like the flag games though

Ugh, flag games are what I really suck at. I can play some defense, but when it comes to running the flag I am awful. I am not good at dodging fire at all. Dogfighting is one thing, but surviving the run from one side of the arena to the other while being chased by several enemies is another.

BTW, I don't have a headset right now, so if I don't converse with you guys, that's why.

With hub in tow, I will be back on Live at a friend's house come Friday. I miss being able to jump on so much. Hopefully many of you can jump on this Friday night.

Anyone with Live simply MUST give this game a shot. It's so fucking good, quite possibly the most underrated game of '03.

I'd say quite possibly the best game of '03, not just underrated. I haven't had this much fun playing a videogame since Twisted Metal 2.
