It's funny, I picked the Panthers to win that game, but I really didn't think they'd beat the Eagles so easily. The Eagles flat out didn't deserve to win that game. And with 4 turnovers, the Eagles were lucky 11 points is all they lost by.

Eagles --> the Buffalo Bills of the NFC Championship Game

i think the packers would have beat the panthers, the eagles didn't even deserve to be in that game.

Yeah, ok. That analogy is a little loose. The Pats are gonna be favored, but there's a decent chance that we can still take 'em.

People like you have been counting the Panthers out all along - and look what happened.

well dude, the eagles always choke, and they played like shit tonight. I doubt the pats are gonna do that. and all the games the panthers won were OT or DOT, i don't think the pats are gonna let them do that. i'll predict it's either gonna be a close game the whole game, or the pats are gonna win like 28 - 7.

It'll be a good matchup. Two teams that can pull out victories pretty much no matter what. I can't wait until February 1st.

I wanted Carolina to win partly because of recieverRicky Proehl. He graduated from my high school and spoke at my senior sports banquet. I believe he's the only player whose jersey we retired.

LOL ... yeah I can't wait to hear about all the excuses the Eagles fans will come up with for that one. Maybe the Eagles didn't play their best, but the Panthers put a lot of pressure on 'em.

Odds are on the Pats, but not by much. Here's a quote from ESPN.com:

Robert Walker, sports book director at The Mirage hotel-casino, said he also tapped the Patriots as 7-point favorites.

Walker said the Panthers will not be a walkover. He added that professional gamblers had bet on Carolina throughout the playoffs, and he didn't expect that to change.

My favorite part of that game was halfway through the 4th quarter when they announced that the leading reciever for the Eagles was Manning of the Panthers.

Not only did the Eagles drop the ball, they gave it to the other team.

Of course McNabb playing with torn ligaments didn't help either.

I like the idea that those fucking Eagles got their asses handed to them, but I'm torn on who to root for in the bowl game. See, I used to live in Charlotte, but I hate Steven Davis with a passion.

I don't even like the pats that much either.

Maybe I'll just go play pool instead.

It will definitely be the Pats toughest challenge... Although, the Titans were damn good and had the best chance of beating them... I thought the Colts would do better but damn, Law shut them down almost single-handedly.

Panthers deserve to be there, they were better than that crappy Eagles team and was alot better than Rams for almost the entire game.

It is going to be a low-scoring grinding match.

If I was to put money on this game, it would be on the Panthers. 7 points, that's too much, and I'd expect that number to come down a few.
