Nearly impossible to get Shin Akuma in CVS2?

Well,I think im the only person on this message board that likes this game,I really dont know why,but thats besides the point.....I've been trying,for the past 3 days to get Shin Akuma,is he almost impossible to get? First he becomes a Haduken(sry spelling is probably wrong) whore,then he just pulls random moves out of his ass,I think I beat him once and got own3d the second time.So,has anyone done it?And if so,can you give me a few tips? I'm playing the Gamecube version by the way,I will probably get a few insults for that,but I happen to like the controls.Thanks Tim

Pick Mai, get near, jump backwards, fan dive. Repeat until dead.


Or pick Blanka and Jump Fierce him all the time... One thing i've noticed is that after you've continued twice against him, he gets a lot easier the third time. Sometimes he just sits there and does nothing at all....

Easiest way to beat Shin Gouki - knock him down, and every time he gets up time the sweep perfectly. It's insane how many times I've gotten a perfect on him using this same bullshit tactic.

Well,i got to him,and i tried the mai thing,got own3d,then i tried the blanka thing,got own3d,hell i eaven tried EO ism(i was desperate) and i got owned,i just vant do it and hes soo damn cool

As a playable Character Shin Gouki is not as cool.
Don't get me wrong he still has excellent offense and bad ass moves. But his defense is dropped so it's not a total massacre of whoever faces you. They try to even the playing field when you get to play as him. The same goes for Omega Rugal.
