I've been thinking about buying another book for my collection. I've already purchased All about SNK head to head fighting games, and am looking for the older book that came before this one.

I think it was called "All About Neo-Geo" or something to that effect. It had a listing of all games for the neo geo, some screen shots, etc. Does anyone have the isbn number for this book? or can anyone tell me where I can buy it? I live real close to a Kinokuniya (1 block) so i could just get it there if I have the number.

Let me know!

Pictures of the book.

This is the second volume of the A.A. (All About) Game History Series, the focal point of which is SNK's impressive line-up of fighting games, spanning from the original Fatal Fury inclusive to The King of Fighters 2000, including original home system projects as can be found on the PlayStation. Quite a lot of information on this site, related to soundtrakcs, MVS and Hyper 64 releases, animation and combo videos, console ports.., can all be found in this book. I happened upon this book by the time it was of about 5% use to me for this site, although that in no way detracts from the magnificent, magnanimous assemblage of history, information and SNK/Neo·Geo passion that is this most encompassing bible. By far most of the 400 pages are in full colour, and thick, high-quality paper was employed in the production of the encyclopedia. The art sections alone are absolutely superb. Studio Bent Stuff compiled a release which is simply greatness between the covers, and in the opinion of this webmaster, instantly merits a purchase by any long-time Neo·Geo fighting fan and many newcomers alike who wish to explore the history of the most innovative, arguably greatest company in the history of arcade head-to-head fighting games. As a general warning, keep in mind that this book is in Japanese, through and through, thus depending on your situation, you may wish to think clearly about how much you would be willing to spend on what may to you be a "picture book."

And here is the store to buy it.
