I've given it some thought, and it seems to me as though Hanzo and Galford seem to represent polar opposites; not necessarily the Yin and Yang per se (as I am not sure what either fully entails), but still opposite.
The most basic stuff--their origins: Galford comes from the West, Hanzo from the East.
Stances: Galford leans in, Hanzo leads out.
Purposes: Galford is the Justice, Hanzo is the Vengeance.
Personality: Galford seems to be more "open," forging friendships with Poppy, his dog, and Nakoruru (and presumably Rimururu by proxy). On the other hand, Hanzo seems to keep to himself, even to the extent of wearing a mask. He has, as Jubei says in SSIV, "a blade for a heart."
Technique: Galford is very flashy, using lightning in many of his attacks and chipping away at foes while loudly announcing his techniques. Hanzo is a cold, calculating, subtle technician, silently cracking limbs and even turning invisible.
Wardrobe: Galford wears light-colored clothing, Hanzo wears dark-colored clothing. (talking about A/Shura colors here)
