yeah i need the cord from someone's old homecart controller. and if you could tell me what color wire goes to which button before you pull out the wire, and what directions go to which colors. i'm gonna be modding another dc stick soon and i need this part. so if anyones got a busted neo controller lying around and you wanna make ten bucks off of the cord lemme know.

Why not just buy a bare cord? Neo sticks don't often break, and a cable by itself is probably cheaper.

Just buy a DB15 PC joystick controller extension cable, although you might need one that can have the female end adapted to fit in the Neo.

The pin-out the Neo uses can be found at www.gamesx.com .

because 1.the db-15 lacks the wires coming out at the end that would allow me to solder it to the wires of the controller
2.the radio shacks around me have no idea what a db-15 connector is
3.i've alredy made a new controller out of broken controller parts, and that's much easier for me to do than to memorize the pinout and blah blah blah.

1. I don't know what you are talking about, a regular PC controller extension cable has all 15 wires, you just need to chop the male end and you'll see them.

2. There are other places to buy things, and not necessarily on-line, either.

3. Memorize a pin-out? WTF? oh_no You can print it or write it down?

1 Common (GND) 10 NC
2 NC 11 Start
3 Select 12 C Button
4 D Button 13 A Button
5 B Button 14 Left
6 Right 15 Up
7 Down
8 +5v
9 D Button

&4: Yeah, it will be easier and cheaper to find a broken controller, good luck, I heard Radio Shack have a big stock of them. loco

there's no way i'm paying $25.00 for a broken pad when i can get a working one for that much, besides all i need is the wire.
