You need to get 201 wins to unlock everything.200 wins unlocks Igniz but 201 wins makes both bosses playable in all modes except for the party mode.

Use Heidern. His fireball is very effective. Many characters fall for his light version fireball.Keep doing it after you knock down your opponent and use his qcfX2 + C DM whenever possible. It helps you to regain health.Using heidern's fireball over and over can be time consuming but very effective. The CPU blocks a lot later in the party mode and you might not get a chance to do combos so abuse those fireballs and DMs.

Robert is also effective in party mode in 2001. Using his hard fireball rapidly will blast the opponents down for several rounds. When they begin to block and/or get cheap, closer to the end, I'll jump in the air and use his down/towards+kick to the head then trip them up.

Any recommendations for KOF00?

The cheaper and easier, the better. :)

for 2k i used kim. i use his dive kick ( can't think of the name at the moment) his slide kick and cross-up. his jumping hard kick to his standing hard kick up close to phoenix kick dm. what i don't like is that you have purposely lose and start over again to get the other strikers:(

Speaking of KOF 2k, clark with joe is damn effective in the party mode.Instant death to anyone with those striker combos and don't forget to taunt to get back a few stocks in the striker guage and continue your mayhem.

2k's party mode is a lot easier than 2k1's as the battles will not continue forever. You just have to meet those criterias stated.

For 2000 I used Kyo with Rugal as the striker. Playing through 2000's party mode is much easier than 2001's. The only drawback I find in 2000's party mode is that items only become unlockable one at a time. The first time I played party mode I beat 119, and then decided to die so I could play with all the hidden strikers, etc. I wasn't exactly happy to find out that I had to redo party mode several times to get all of the extras. Anyways, for 2000 Kyo is effective because his sweep move hits twice. I use a cheap hard kick to the head and then the double kick to the feet. Whenever the CPU gangs up on you, call in Rugal to volley him in the air while you recover. Thanks for the welcome orochi_lubu.:buttrock:

K9999 is beast piece with his drill and SDM (the freaky arm). He mows guys down fast and gains life from it quick too.

up to 198 k.o.s. should i rely more on strikers than dms for 2k1? and if so which strikers do you think are the best?

I got 209 wins with Chang. I always use him for KOF Survival modes. He's powerful and has range.

Anyone hear about that rumor that Eiji Kisargi and Rugal Bernstein are unlockable in 2001 on PS2? No one knows how to do it, but on gamefaqs.com's message board, one guy emailed SNK and they actually said that they're in the game, but they won't say how to unlock them. After I unlocked Igniz, it didn't say anything about getting a certain number of wins to unlock anything. I hope I don't need to play Party Mode again.

My record is 308 so beat that

anyways i used heidern coz he is one of my favourites but more to the fact that he has so many gain life moves and his
QCB HCF+K MOVE is so quick as a finish up

Just be extremely careful with the people who are in the 9 spots
9, 19, 29, 39, 49 ,59, 69, 79, 89, 99, 109, 119 and so forth

oh and i forgot always use down strong kicks...
it gets you through the first 50 or so people with ALOT of time to spare. it kills people pretty quickly!

308 was nearly impossible. Don't think that it came pretty easily

Chang is good because he does the most damage per non-comboed move, and consequently gets the most life back when he connects. I got to 183 with him, until Clark and Ryo decided to get cheap as fuck and block/hop over all my attacks with perfect timing.
