Right,there is 2 types of signal that are classed as NTSC.
The first is NTSC 3.58,which is 'true' NTSC.This si the signal that is put out by all import machines.What you will need is the saturn RGB lead and you will get it running in full colour.RGB isnt bound by the strictures of PAL/NTSC like av composite or s-vhs.
When you bridged jumper no1 on your saturn,you enabled it to run in PAL 60(or NTSC 4.4).This allows the machine to run in full colour and full speed just as if its an import machine.Other machines that can be made to run in the same PAL 60 are UK snes,master systems and uk megadrives.
As for when your front loader arrives I am 90% positive that it will still run in colour on your TV through the av leads(I have never had geo run in b/w on any of my tv's since I first had one).
As I said before,get hold of the RGB leads and everything will be all fine and dandy.Its ironic that my TV had a Bush badge on the front of it but it is both NTSC 3.58 and 4.4 compatible.
It makes me laugh when the tv-whores think they have got a superior tv just because it has a 'sony' badge on the front of it.Most people don't realsie that nowadays there are only about 5 manufacturers of tvs in the world(daewoo and thorn being the biggest)and they will use the same tv chassis for about 20 different sets spread over about 4 different high street names.I would love to know which 'sony' tv has the same chassis as my tv and how much more it costs just because of the badge on the front of it.
Anyway,get hold of the rgb leads Dan, and the job's a fish.
