controller adapter modification question.....

Today my girlfriend made some controller adapters for me.......yeah, that's right and they work! well...sort of...lol.....


They are to hook up neo-geo controllers to a mas supernova...

I am using a cps2 setup with kick harness to test this out on.....

I hooked up the cd pad and only the d-pad worked....

then I hooked up an old-style neo arcade stick and everything works great!

So.. I checked the +5v on the adapter.... and it was hooked up correctly......

So any ideas on why I am not getting these cd pads working?


Would a supernova that came with arcade sticks that don't need +5v......... even have the +5v hooked up to the ports? I can checked this tomorrow.....

any ideas or suggestions?

The CD pads are not getting +5V in pin 8. Check if the supernova really has +5V wired in some pin of the controller ports.

the 14 pin is missing on both of the supernova controller ports

I am going to have to take the ports out from the front just to reach them.....but I will have +5 going in......


I wonder why they leave it off?

Yeah, it's pretty nice having someone who is willing to help me out...

I really don't think she wants to..lol...and.....

Honestly, I would rather do it myself
