MVS Cab Question

Ok I Have a extra set of surround sound speakers ( 1 center channel and 2 rear speakers). Would it be possible to hook these up to my cab? I understand that it will in now way be surround sound, but I have extra speakers and I wanted to put them to use.

Or would it be better to just hook it up to a receiver from the headphone jack with a 1/4 to a R/L RCA?
