Hey
You can't reset the coin counter because it was designed to let you know what earnings it took end. The other is to reset the book keeping on your mother and take the count from there.

Without looking at mine real good, knowing how it works internally and not knowing how it's wired up.....I wonder if reversing the 2 wires on it will have any effect..
If you were to reverse the wires and insert credits would it make the digits/numbers inside spin backwards....?
It's just a thought....

I think these can be bought new also George..

I saw them new at the last Arcade auction I went to..
A guy had them for sale with other stuff on a small table.

Happs may carry them new..or another company.

Looking there I found this..

Why would you want to reset the counter anyway? It's kinda' like how a car shows it's miles. It's cool to see how many times a coin was inserted into your machine. Mines currently at 030,995 (she's been around ;)).

I would like to have a coin counter in my cab. I have a french one, and I don't have this kind of things.

My cab is a 1982 atari dig dug conversion, it looks like it was converted to neo around 92 - the coin counter hasn't worked, since 92, and it is still sittin pretty on 90k

Coin counters are used in cabs all over the world: if yours doesn't have one it's not because it's French. And you can add one quite easily (yes, they're available also in France:tickled: ).
