MV-F1 dip settings help me out!

Okay i was fiddling with my dip settings last night.

So 1 is the one that brings the menu thing up with all the soft/hard dips scores etc you know.

So i set the hard dip to 7 and 8 which is free play and stop modes.I set them both on and they say 'on' fire my game up i get a black screen after i set the dips and/or i restart the game completly.

Could someone tell me how to do this properly to set to free play and stop [pause] as it doesn't like my method of doing it.

I'm pretty sure having dip switch #8 on will give you a Black Screen..

I switched it on once just to see what the heck does it do and all I got was a black screen..So I switched it back off..

I honestly don't know what #8 is for [pause] mode...but I don't thinks it's supposed to be on..

I think if you want to set it for pausing games you have to run a switch to (Soldered Underneath) Dip switch # 8...then switch it on when you want to pause a game..

So the #8 dip switch should be off in my understanding..even after you add the switch ..
The added switch acts as the dip switch itself,just at an easier to get at location.

Leave on #7 for free play..

I haven't done it yet, but plan to.
It's fun to play with the switch while the cab is on and during gameplay (if it's easy to get too). It was especially useful when I was positioning my monitor settings, The cross hatch in the set up is ok but using and actual game screen can be more acurate.
