Hey,

I think this is a tech question so here it goes.... If I get a jp vers DC can I play us games without a mod?? If I need a mod, does it require a chip or can I use a gameshark, just like I use in my us dc to play jp imports. If I need a gameshark, do I need a jp vers gameshark in a jp DC or can I use a us game shark. in a jp DC? Thanks

AJ

You can get a mod chip for the DC, but you're better off just using a boot disc. I've got the DC-X boot disc and it works with all the imports I've tried it with. If you can't find a copy then you can always download the Utopia Boot Disc which will boot imports. There is a copy hosted at www.dcemulation.com

I'm going to be moddin my US soon....

I know a lil bout DC culture and have found there there are 2 kinds of DC emthusiasts..... People who like to mod and people who love bootdiscs. Each camp will veehmintly tell you to do what they do.

Basically, It's supposedly an easy mod..... If you like to do that stuff, for $15 do it. If not just boot it.

I'd say go with MVSMatt's advice and use a bootdisc.
