well, seeing that kof2003 and snk vs. capcom arnt going to be on the the mvs format. i was wondering if i make a consulized 2 slot, and i solder the wires such as video, power, sound on a jamma connector and not solder them on the pcb. then when ever i would like to play a pcb(snk) game i just remove the jamma connector and push it in the pcb it sould work right?

thanks:tickled:

you will need extra controller ports? do the snk vs cap boards need -5v? if so..what powersupply would you use?

Here's an interesting gizmo from Two-Bit Scores' website:

http://www.twobits.com/parts/

Click 'electrical parts' option on the left side of the page and scroll down a bit.

It allows you to plug two JAMMA boards into one connector and comes with a connector that allows you to switch back and forth between games.

The downside? $199 for it...OUCH!!!

They provide a schematic of the board so anyone with wiring knowledge could most likely build one themselves.

I have seen those on eBay for $100 BIN...

maybe I'm not clear on what you want....

something like this.... but where you can pull the JAMMA adapter out a bit and then plug it into another board and still use the???

Is that right?

If so, you're still going to need controller ports and I'm not sure if that board uses -5v...... which 2 slots do not...

And what about mvs and jamma sound differences?

Just some things to think about..

Have you considered getting a Supergun? It seems like that would work better for you if you want to switch between different PCB's.
