Okay, I THINK it used to be a Rampage cab (it had a Rampage dip sheet inside it). Well they used a conversion kit to make it into that thing.

Things I want to do right now are:
The control panel needs to go completely. New Plexiglass will be needed, along with a new metal sheet with custom cut holes. I will need new joysticks and buttons.

Alright, but here is another question I need answered.
In the coin door place, there is a metal thing sticking out with switches and such, the Test switch, the Credit button, and a Volume knob. I was looking and the only one hooked up is the test one, the rest are just cut off wires.
How would you go about hooking up the volume one, I know there is a volume switch on the board itself but, having it up front would be great. How hard would it be to work that thing into a new control panel?

Im not sure if its a MV-1 or an MV-1F.
Oh, and can you hook the credit display or memory card up to this one?

Ok, how would one go about getting a piece of plexiglass and metal cut for a new control panel, I can just take the old one off since its mounted onto a piece of plywood with a hold cut in the middle for the buttons and stuff to come through.

So where would I get something like that done and what kind of info would I need to take with me.

Just use lexan, you can get it at home depot, as far
as which board you have...hardmvs.com - look under
pcbs and examine the pics.

I just got my cab a few days ago, and already I am
learning a lot, so good luck with it bro.

Rampage Arcade Cab

NES It's a Rampage, look how small the marquee is and how big the boarders are on the screen. Did you take the plexyglass off and turn the red boarder around? The old Rampage boarder might still be there.

When my friend and I got our cab from this arcade I saw the Taito Logo on the back of the machine and burn in on the screen from Double Dragon, so I took the glass off and it had the dragon boarder on it.

I just went and looked and its not the original border isnt there. They took a white piece of board, put an SS4 sticker on it and spray painted it all red (over the sticker too oddly).

The original CPO is still on there, but its caused some really bad looking mildew or rust or something which is visibil under the plexiglass through the sticker overlay. (when you open it you can still see all the original holes.
