My MVS 25 Cab 1 Player 2 Player Restoration.

When I bought the Candy I decided to Restore things to new or as close to original as I can get for the Big Red MVS 25..

Stuff like the control panel overlay.
(I bought a nice original one)
The one I have on the cab now is original,When it gets too scratched up I will put the new one on..

The original type power supply..)in mail/still waiting)(damn it)

Today I did this..


It looks so much better now..


Using these..
These are high quality stickers sold in Conversion kits..(they stink like paint)

Like this..


When I bought my cab,the front part where the Coin door is was painted black..
With patience I was able to get that light coat of black paint off,back down to it's original red..

What I've replaced already..from what it needed or wanted to change..
4 Fully working Marquee lights...

Memory Card reader..(broken pin in the old one)

New locks..

New Joysticks/Buttons/switches.,,(as close to original as I can find)

Stripped and Repainted the Control Panel.

What I'd like to do is get some Copies of that "Conversion Kit sticker"(I have another)made..in Sticker Form like it is,to offer people who may need it.

but,....

How would you say to go about that?

And am I allowed to make more...?
Would I be breaking some laws/rules by making these..
(From what I understand these are Conversion stickers/a word not welcomed here)

Who sold the Conversion kits/stickers originally?

This may have nothing to do with what's banned here.
I'm just trying to watch my ass with what I do.

I emailed the guy about the power supply today,and he said he shipped it out yesterday by Priority mail..
(Trusted Ebay Seller)

I bought a second similar power supply (won it cheap)just incase the first one I bought doesn't work..(from a slow shipping seller though)
The first is new in the box,but untested..
The guy did say today that he would send me another if I had any problems with it..



This is one of the PS units I bought..

I bought a set that look like the Supers at ..

They were as close as I could find to the originals that were in my cab..
The only thing I see different is the new sticks have a rougher knob,whereas the original were very smooth.

I didn't buy them from Happ though..
I bought them in a full kit off Ebay with buttons and switches..awhile back..I wanted to buy another set,but I've never found the same set listed again.
I wanted to put a set of these in the Tekken 3 machine..but I bought a set of Competition Joysticks & buttons awhile back..So I used them in that machine.
I do like the Supers better though..
Maybe it's because I'm used to them..but I must say they are really precise..

I'm pretty sure they are adjustable..I do have them a bit high..
I never tried to adjust them..I like them a bit high..My hands are wide..



I'm running out of hosting room small pics....


I wanted to buy some joysticks from Happ..
But they never reply to my inquiries..back then and now..

I emailed them to see if they had the Power supply I need in stock..I emailed them a few times..with no answer/reply.
I remember reading that a member was send the wrong one..I don't want to go through that crap..I'd be pissed off.
I really don't want to order something if they don't have it or they have to back order it..

yeah, I just bought a new power supply as well, not sure how good it is...... but I should work fine.

Not really sure what I'm going to do with it yet..... but I am sure I will dedicate another cabinet soon enough....... maybe st-v

I do want these to be nice though......so I have some elbow greese to put in to it,lol...

for some reason I love red cabs but I am thinking blue and white for the st-v cab for some reason..




sorry to pull this a bit OT...your work looks great! I hope I can get things looking that professional on my cabinets.

I thought you got them from Happs.
I got a set from Happs, they shipped them fast, good
transaction overall.

Btw, anyone bought arcade parts from this place?

Oh yea..I'd go blue and white for an STV cab..
That's the Colors I'd like to use..for whenever I buy a Generic cab to put the STV boards in..

They are good. I am satisfied with the product. They feel just
about fine.

Update...

I got my Power supply today and that was the problem..

The old power supply was bad..

This one is quiet...and I have no break-up on screen anymore..
No ripple etc..

Sweet..
the machine is running perfect now...

I bought this one..



I have STV Columns 97 running in it now as a suprise for when my wife gets home.


The lighting in my place stinks though..
