My mom brought home this LCD moniter from work when they were going to throw it away because they got a new one.

She didnt get the power cord though, and it takes a really wierdly shaped plug.

its a ViewSonic ViewPanel VP140. It takes a 14V DC IN plug, but I cant find one that fits. There is also what looks like a berg connector to the left of the power plug.

Any help?

I know..
It's going to be a pain to get the right one or one at all.

Maybe some sort of computer site/forum etc..may be able to get a you an answer..

I wonder if there are any more monitors like that at her job..

Well she stopped working there over a year ago, so thats probably not any help.

I went to techtv.com and asked around and people told me to either call ViewSonic or go to RadioShack and ask if they have any. The problem is Ive tried a few "universal" ac adaptors, and none of them fit.

Yea..
I would take it to radio shack with the specs written above and see if they could match it up..

If they do match it up..
Mack sure the polarity is right and see if they could test it right there..
