Scammer in the UK on ebay active_sales

This wanker took £82.50 ($140) from me for a euro savage reign 4 weeks ago and has cashed the money but not replied to any emails or sent the item since. Worse he seems to have been unregistered in ebay and i cant seem to get his address details.
ebay as usual are very sluggish to respond. Any one else had any dealings with this active_sales?
The I remember the guys name is Lee.
Perhaps its Lee dobbinson again?

I hate to say it I think your screwed he isn't a registered user anymore, so he has probably been banned form ebay.

Was there any contact number, do you have his address or did he only except paypal?

One of the reasons I only bid on paypal credit card auctions, unless I know the seller.

I remember that auction, I was very tempted to bid on it. Good luck getting a refund

Are ebay culpable.
I threw away the guys address once i sent he chq.
Perhaps I can ask the bank to tell me whose bank accout the chq went into and trace him that way?
Im going to ask ebay to give me his details as he was registered.
Its all i can do I guess. But Im going to track down the guy

i bid on a copy of samurai shodown 3 neo geo cd

i sent a cheque to him and it cleared at the end of november

i got an email from ebay just the day i sent my cheque, about his listings all been removed, but i already put it in the post.

and i didnt know what the email was about so i never took notice.
all it say was all listing by active sales was removed.

i didnt take notice of it. cos i thought it was one of those ebay security email.
and the id active sale just made me thought it was a word term.
never caught on

anyway the cheque was cashed at the end of november and never seen item for 2 weeks so i email but no reply but i got the game 2 or 3 days ago!!!

but he never reply to email at all.

he put a notice on the game sorry for delay.

so may be he will send it.....dont know

Sure I bought the Savage reign off him. I didnt imagine it yknow! But thanks for the details mate.
I just called his house. There was an answermachine with a message left by a female.Judging by the message this Lee sounds like some mommys boy.
I left a mildly threatning message, talking about issuing a summons if I didnt receive my game.

Ok update.

Thanks to the member who PM'd me ebay members"active_sales" telephone number and address I was able to get hold of the guy behind the account....Lee Hunt.

When I rang him up, he tried to attack me and claim the moral high ground by stating "I dont like the fact you called my mothers house"....and when I asked him "why havent you sent my game then?" and I called him a "thief"he started sniggering and taking the mickey.

He told me
a) the game hadn't been sent because the cheque had bounced!!!
b)the reason he had been unregistered on ebay was a simple admin problem
and c) the reason he hadnt replied to any of my emails was because his email was down.

I responded that
a)I had a bank statement in front of me which showed the cheque had cleared
b) Prior to calling I had requested that my bank provide details of whose name and bank account the money cleared in and this showed up as Lee Hunt .
C) I let him know it was pretty odd he had stopped replying to my emails as soon as the cash cleared, which was 4 weeks ago. In addition I found an email on my computer which was the last email the guy sent me before he disappeared. In it he told me "the cheque had cleared and the game would go out today"!

bottom line.....Lee Hunt is a liar and if it wasnt for the fact someone here gave me his details I would never have seen this game.
Now his mother knows and I have his contact details I think might just send me my game.

Yeah I was happy with the price it was £77.50. ($118). I wouldnt want to visit him, as mb he's some nutter!
