I think a feedback thread is needed badly

I know i am new here but i have been trading on the net since Feb of this year. I am a member of Tradegamesnow.com and IGN.com. They both have a feedback system where when u trade with someone, they leave u positive if the trade was a successful one and a negative if the trade was horrible or they ripped u.

You have been here less than a week. There was at one time several just good buyers/traders/sellers threads running in the Market Place forums that people could add succesful deals to. You might want to search for them.

As far as an actual feedback system on the site, ain't gonna happen. This, as well, has been discussed many times over.

He means you're making major suggestions for a website you've been surfing for less than a week. Usually news travels around the boards of who to trust and who to avoid. Members also sometimes keep lists of good buyers/sellers in their signatures. Anytime somebody is wary of a member, posting a "Is (member X) a good trader/seller/buyer?" thread almost always results in feedback.

Yes, I know what your post said.

I am simply saying you have only been here a week and making suggestions already. This place has been through these topics many times over and the end result is always the same.

Plus these threads do exist, but are not stickied to the top of any of the Market Place forums (for some odd reason). Well, maybe with the exception of the Aaron Lewis thread (took them fucking long enough).

The Market Place forums generally self police themselves. Whilst I would like to see Mods make more of an attempt to help out (if for nothing other than sticky Scammer/fraud threads), generally their assistance is not required. For the most part when someone gets called out as a scammer, someone will jump in and offer assistance in one form or another. Many times resulting in the "they live across town from me and I will go kick their ass for you" type responses.

Plus generally if you want to leave feedback for someone, its reasonable for you to do it in the original selling/trading/buying thread.

I see your point guyz. I just don't wanna get ripped. I only trade or buy when the person i am dealing with has no complaints.

I wouldn't come here just to peddle or buy stuff. For people who post here regularly it's pretty obvious who's going to be good to deal with...

feedback system would be pointless, aaron lewis did a few good deals and once people thought he was a good trader he pulled off one of the biggest scams in history

Exactly. Kyokugen Star was a respected member here at one time before he ripped off another member with a conversion Metal Slug and claimed it was an original US AES version.

Well see thats the point. I am new here so i do not know any of you all. It also sounds like the Aaron Lewis guy was well known and look what happen. I was just wondering why thats all. I guess alot of you don't want to see something like this.

Aaron Lewis was never well known when he began scamming people. Someone posted a thread asking if he was a good seller or not, and a couple people replied that they had a successful deal. Then a bunch of began pending trades with the guy who then proceeded to rip them off...As a result of that debacle, you can bet he is well know now, along with his many aliases.

Do a search in the selling forum for a large good seller thread. There was one awhile back with many great sellers listed.

I don't think you need a feedback system here, the neo-geo.com forums are different from the IGN Classifieds (which I frequent also, under same name) and tradegamesnow.com (which I don't like).
