Awesome.

It looks like 'the model' from 'Pickman's Model'.

Oddly enough, this really IS a Lovecraft inspired drawing- I did it at my last job the morning after I read 'The Rats In The Walls'

I had some sort of Lovecraftian dream in which I was held prisoner in some deep cellar underneath the streets of Providence- and this cannibal giant was my captor.

Damn you Richard. Upton. Pickman. :)

Hey, even though you've been mean, I still wanna say
You are pretty talented at drawing. do you have any other artwork? I mean it's just incredibly detailed. Right down to even the drool dripping from the teeth. Nice, Neobuyer.

I clicked your link, and checked out some of the pics.

Your 'Saburo' was fantastic. You did a great job of making it look like it was painted with a brush...

It reminded me of some of the illustrations from Samurai Spirits 3 & 4.

Saburo looks like a character from viewtiful joe.

Great work, man. I wish I could draw like that... I always tried to learn it, but I guess it doesn't work without talent. I think I have that for music, but drawing? Nah...

Btw., I always wanted to depict certain elements of HPL's "The Silver Key" and "Through the Gates of the Silver Key", namely the weird coffin-shaped clock and the entrance to Randolph Carters dream world... together with "Dream Quest for Unknown Kadath", these two novels stand out as some sort of "manuals" of the whole Cthulhu/Yog Sothoth thing... very nice.

Talk to me, maybe we can arrange something.

I don't think I've ever seen so appropriate a time to use the  emoticon.

Hey Tak and Tsuka-

I may never get around to doing it- but one of my ambitious ideas was to try and illustrate 'The Lurking Fear', 'The Hound' and 'The Haunter of the Dark' Here's a sketch from The Lurking Fear :

I'm really thinking about doing some sketches for 'The Lurking Fear' as it's a full on monster story and the easiest, by far, to illustrate

Just got S.T. Joshi's Annotated editions of some of HP's work BTW

AWESOME work man, I love the eyes and the evil look, very nice!

Illustrating The Hound sure would be cool since it's a very scenic story with clear settings (the house, the caverns, the graveyard, etc.).

And then... there is the challenge of depicting the undepictable, so to speak... Nyarlathotep or Yog Sothoth for example... :)

Good work; your lines in these drawings are very free-flowing and expressive.

I guess I still have the same criticism I had of your Wendigo drawings - while they're drawn well, your monsters are just too generic looking for my tastes.

What is up with you?

Must you be such a negative nellie in the creative section?

well if you didn't act like an ass towards her everywhere else she wouldn't be a "negative nellie" besides which she tried being nice in this thread and you just brushed her off. perhaps you're the one who needs to rethink your strategies not her.
