How about a warning to members you kick out of forums?

You should tell people what they did wrong and not just give them the boot. If they still act like an ass and keep posting trash, then kick them out. Im just saying you would be making the site a better place and would get less negativity. possibly more sales for neo-store
sometimes people will just run
there mouth drunk or stoned and then the next day they are not even allowed to look at the forums....just something to think about.:eye: :mr_t:

I was there and it was pretty gay as no reason was given to me. I just hope somebody thinks about this post for awhile. My main reason for being here is to get news and to check out the selling forum, so I was surprised and upset to see I couldnt access the forums and had to make another email account to come back here.
The moral of the story is you cant stop people from coming back, no matter what some of you think. Also it does not give the store a boost, it does nothing but anger people. I still dont know what I did wrong. I dont care anymore.

Hey Atro!

I just got back. I got lost on the island, as it is much larger than it first seems. Luckily I chronicled my adventures there so that I will be remembered. I hope to make a return trip one day and see what others found after my brisk departure back to the mainland :D

Generally people know why they were banned. I’d recommend that anyone with the habit of running their mouth when drunk or stoned doesn’t log on at those times that they find themselves drunk or stoned.

There are some cases, like EsKo’s, where the reason for the banning is not clear. I can well understand why you were though.

EW sent me there for no reason onetime.

I guess it's his weird torture device, he must get some thrill out of it.

Actually, you can stop people from coming back. IP banning is one way (yes, there are work arounds, but it becomes less worthwhile eventually). Another is to annoy the hell out of someone with repeated bannings to the point they don't want to come back.

The real moral of the story is that the forums exist solely due to NeoStore profits. The NeoStore doesn't exist because of the forums, but yes, the forums keep people here and is good publicity. So being banned from the forums keeps out the problem people and makes the real fans (most of which buy at the NeoStore) happy.

Most formerly banned members find the Isle therapeutic I find. The reflecting pool so to speak. neo-geo 2 and Makismo have been rehabilitated quite successfully as you may notice.

I've never banned anyone myself, but it's definitely a usefull device to keep some semblance of order
