Sam Sho Zero sound problems

Hey dudes, so I got my fucking Sam Sho Zero cart from NCS today, and the sound is all fucked up.

I cleaned the cart and my home system, but the sound is still shit.

Do I just have a bad cart, or what?

After doing some research I found this thread http://www.neo-geo.com/forums/showthread.php?s=&threadid=70872 apparently SNKP is slacking when it comes to manufacturing the newer carts and some of the connections are bad on the actual cart. This has me really worried since my jpn copy of SSV will be here Friday. Hope this gives you some idea of what could be wrong.

Thanks for inspiring paranoia about my own English SSV pre-order. I'll lose alot of sleep

Sorry, I wouldn't worry too much as it can be fixed rather easily, or so i'm told But I was paranoid too, thats why I went searching. Apparently this is a rare occurance so I wouldn't get too worried.

I just want to know if anyone else is having this problem? I know a lot of us are recieving our NGH version tommarow. Just curious to see how many bad carts there are.

Got Mine Today and It's Perfect!

UPS brought me an early gift this year--SSV (US Version). Cartridge is perfect, no sound issues whatsoever. Pre-ordered mine from NCSX.

Ive got the same pb about movig characters when I switching my stick by another one
and another time for no reason ?? but I havent the autoreset pb

Ive plug n unplug carts few times but still same

then Ive made a test with my second AES system ( Ive 2 aes ) both are pal but my trouble come only on my mod aes ( with bios)

Ive a kestion looks like Ive another sound pb

does haomaru slash have sound ?
I mean when you slash A (light) or B(medium) in jumping or standin up ( the slash doesnt hits characters , just simply
push A ligth/Bmedium in an empty space)
does haomaru make blade sound like slashing the wind ? like he does in SS4 ? coz mine dont make any windlsash noise
he only throw an ulgy scream aaah voices like a barbarian
when I push AB (strong) its ok he scream with a wind slash noise like he always does

just test with another characters its same strange thing ?? some does windslash sound like (charlotte yohsitora tam tam) some doesnt make ( hao genjuro) Im pretty scared of my cart because I use to play SS 4 and all sounds ok each characters throw windslash T_T

plz answerme !! I dont know if its normal
looks each snkp aes rlz got trouble -_- svcc ( crappy sound) kof2k2 ( volume sound change in game )etc ..

Hrm just got my cart today and since I don't have my modded system back yet I can't test it out. Everything looks good but when I shake the cart a little it feels like the boards inside are loose. I've never noticed it before with any of my other carts. Is anyone else's loose? And does this mean my copy could be defective?

Yeah I buy and sell games here all of the time and maybe 2 or 3 (out of the hundreds that have passed thru my hands) had boards that were 100% tight.

It seems that SSV issues have come from 2 areas:

#1. Random bad carts.

#2. People with Bios mods.

I have Bios and a Jpn. SS0 and no problems(also got it from the Neo store).

I wonder if the problems are w/ the US carts. Just a thought, cause I think a couple of the people w/ problems have US carts.

Great game by the way.

I'm having one or two issues with the sound myself. Some of the bgm music seems to be missing on a few stages. Unless there's no music on the bambo stage etc.

"US" and "JP" carts are the same, the paperwork is what is different...

So it's gotta just be random.

About the music on the bamboo, I don't think there is a problem, it just very suttle sounds(I think, gotta check).

A lot of the reused music are straight fromm SS4. Kinda wish the SS3 stages would have retained their SS3 music(some of the best tunes in the SS series).

The new songs are cool.

yeh but there's a slight hiss though. sorry for leaving that out, I was posting while watching cnn.

As far as the music on the bamboo stage it's taken straight from SS4, the same exact sounds. You hear a bit of wind, leaves getting rustled, birds chirping and a sort of a slight ring thats constant in the background(very low). Maybe the hiss or humm you hear is that slight ringing, it's normal.

By the way my Neo Geo system is also stereo modded.

for now I play on my non mod aes and its ok
strangely when I play on my mod aes Ive some glitches (can't mve my characters but buttons are ok ) when reset the game its ok
don t know if mod or serial num of aes is the key ..

is there anynone who has videos glitches issue like some blue parasite on screen sometimes only ??
