We dont really have anything like that here (as far as the moveslists go) and I think it would be cool to have him here.

He took the pages down, because as you can read with your eyeballs in the news section he took them down because of bandwidth issues with his host.

I agree with Nesagwa, this was the best site for move and combo lists (although there were a few inaccuracies I noticed in the RB games) I've seen. Very comprehensive and easy to read. His pages would be a great addition, and I've been going through withdrawls since they've been down.

I like your idea. The guy is very busy. I have emailed him a couple of times, and he replies to me months after. I don't know if he checks his email often or not.

I also noticed some mistakes in the kof games, however it is a nice and easy way to read the moves. It beats gamefaqs movelist any day.

I use to go to this site a while ago. It was a great site and a fair bit more ledgable and user frindly than GameFaqs. I think that you may be able to host these guys things, or hire him on to work with the FAQ section department, that would be great.

Eh? I just went to his site and most of his faq links are dead. It looks like he was linking files from some other source.

That's why he needs hosting. He took the FQS offline cause of hosting problems. Look at the news section of the site.

You're welcome! I used to read the Neo Encyclopedia so it’s not too difficult to understand why the site means so much to so many people. Shawn loved the idea of hosting the Neo Encyclopedia; he even sent an e-mail to the author right after we had finished discussing everything. It's just a matter of time before the author responds to Shawn's letter.

In the meantime, keep your eyes on the entrance page to this site (where news updates concerning the community are posted) for further developments. I'm sure Shawn will mention something once he receives word of his acceptance.

Update:

The author has declined our offer to host his page at ng.com. According to him, he would rather leave his website independent with no affiliates.

Man, this is disappointing.

The links are still broken on his site, and he says he has no plans ever to bring back the combo pages. What is he thinking? Hopefully, he'll come to his senses eventually.

Thanks for trying anyway, NeoLord. It was a valliant attempt to rescue what I thought of as a valuable resource.
