ok, i have my 1-slot (mv-1h?) in my converted cab, and have the speakers wired to the speaker output on the board (right next to the headphone out used by the memory card reader). also have the switch on stereo. but for some reason, the left channel is alot quieter than the right channel. as a temp work around, i have the left channel plugged into the jamma harness. anyone know if this is fixable/adjustable?

Your Setup might be wired for Mono........ MVS Stereo Uses a different Wireing.....

If you plan on Using Jamma boards alot, Just keep things the way they are and Set it To mono..... If you don't plan on using anything but your MVS board, Rewire it for stereo.....

i'm only using the jamma harness for left channel audio right now, since the stereo header's left channel is super quiet compared to the right channel (my board has both a headphone header and a speaker out header)

yeah the stereo connection goes like this:

10 Pin (parts Side)-----(+)L Speaker(-)--------Ground
10 Pin (Soldr Side)-----(+)R Speaker(-)--------Ground

Your Mono Cab Is wired like this:

10 Pin (part Side)-----(+) Both Speakers(-)--------10 Pin (Sod Side)

To go stereo, connect it as shown at top.......

i'm not sure if that'll work, the only schematics that i was able to find for my board (here ) shows not to use the jamma harness for stereo sound, but the dedicated header located next to the the connectors for the mv-1c memory board.

... I'll have to check when I get home but I'm sure that's the setup I use for my MV-1

Took me a while but I hooked up my MV-1....

Works like I Said in stereo mode.... Right off the harness....

My guess is that they want you to hook stereo up off the headphone connector because if you the jamma connector setup for stereo mode and the switch is on MONO it will short the board.
