Which superguns are the best

I am considering on buying one, but I don't know which one to buy. It is between massystems, Great western, or I have heard of a sigma one. Any of you guys out there have any advice on which ones are the best out of all the superguns that are out there? I need some help with this one!

mas is the best plus for 300 bucks u get some of the best joysticks ever made.

hga or greatwestern sucks, the system comes all fucked up plus the sticks are very poorly made.

sigma and uberia are good to is u live in the uk but the price goes up for us usa people

If i were you SHO i would get the uberia minigun its a great price since you live in uk. remember u need a mvs mother board to play mvs games, also u will need to buy neogeo controller and sticks to work on the super gun.

Im sorry american super guns are crapand way too expensive the best are English and Hong kong they are the best though you lot dont have scart (usa )

What makes American built SGs crap and way too expensive? You have to take into account the extra cost that goes into the RGB to S-video (or Composite) encoder that has to be added so that they can be used on our tv's.

I take quite a bit of offense from that statement you made.

My Ubergun is totally cool with a Jrok.....i dont have time to buy or experiment on making one which i can do....so i would say talk to paul or kernow....very helpful and reliable...there ya go...Thrall

I'll say it too: American superguns are garbage. Both the HGA and Super Nova are poorly built pieces of junk. Unfortunately, because they're the only ones on the market, people still buy them.

$300 is still be a fair price, though, although I wouldn't personally pay that much for something that's as poorly made what MAS & GWT turn out. If you've ever tried to build a professional-quality supergun yourself, you'll understand that a lot of work & expense goes into it.

Err...I wasn't actually referring to the MAS or GWT unit as I know they are crap. I was referring more to his broad "American SuperGuns are crap" reference. Like all SGs made in the USA are crap, since many of us build them as a hobby.

My statement was more towards the DIY community.

Well, when you really think about the price of the Mas systems arcade sticks.... that IMO, are one of the best arcade sticks available anywhere!....

Which sell at about $115-$125 each....

The Mas systems actual supergun component only costs about $50-$75

IMO, that's not very expensive at all...... so even if it is poorly made..... you're getting what you pay for and then some,imo.

A few members here own a Super Nova and they seem happy with theirs. I plan on getting one myself in a month or two. Broken, why do you think they suck?

I just checked the website www.uberia.co.uk and their superguns are really nice. I might have considered buying one, I don't live in the UK,and shipping is too much. Looks like I have to go with the supernova.

get the super nova system and ask them to make a auxillery cable for neo geo games so you have all 4 buttons.

IMO i would get hard spring or perfect 360 if you have the money for them,and japanese style buttons. they are rounded buttons not caved in.
