Must be in at least very good condition, and of course complete. For PSX. I am not interested in a re-release. If I wanted that I could just go to eBay...

Thats the cheapest I've seen it lately---
Last time [last week] one copy went for 150+---
SO, of course, everyone's trying to sell theirs now...so you can get it for the relatively cheap price of 49.99.

I think you're mixing something up here. I'm talking about Final Fantasy 7, not 6.

There must be a mistake here

FF6 doesn't have an original release by itself (except JPN release). It includes in 2-disc FF Anthology US release.

FFAnthology doesn't even have greatest hits release either

You can get the original FF7 cheap. There was a one time spike of it hitting high on ebay, but that was just a couple morons. The game + guide just recently sold for 30 bones - http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&item=3059198325&category=11056

When I made this thread it seems I used the wrong keywords for my search, because these were pretty easy to find with a new set of keywords.

I know that what I wrote didn't make sense. I'm very familiar with all the FF releases, but Kid Aphex' post didn't make any sense at all, either

Not really. 2 weeks ago two seperate auctions had the game going for over one-hundred dollars, as long as it wasnt the Greatest Hits version.

Or you could just take a look at the two auctions I won. They stayed at low prices for days after I put in my max bids. I'm on eBay every day and I've got a good feel for most prices. I'm sorry that some of you seem to be convinced that I'm wrong, even though I've got my own two auctions to go by, and insist that the game's worth over $100. I found several non-GH releases going for $10-15, and conditions ranged from fair to very good/near mint.

Because if you search on ebay for Final Fantasy 7 and list highest prices, the prices he was talking about only applies to the sealed games. Elementary, my dear Watson.

I never said ANYTHING about sealed games in my initial post in this thread. If Kid Aphex wanted me to know HE was talking about sealed games, he should have wrote it, instead of just assuming everybody knew what he was talking about.

Actually, FF6 was realesed by it self here in Europe, but not until 2001 if I remember it correctly

To make it even more confusing we got an FFAnthology release including FF4 & FF5 :spock:

as well.

It's strange....by the time those games hit the shelf here, most people already had imported the US counterparts.
