I JUST GOT MY COPY OF...METAL SLUG 5 MVS Cart Might NOT WORK with Phantom1???

I HAVE JUST RECEIVED MY METALSLUG 5 MVS cart kit cool but, I have a "super neogeo aes modified" and a phanton1, so when i turn on my console it seems preaty fine but then it starts rebooting and sometimes frezzes. My questionis: is it a new king of protection or it means the METAL SLUG 5 MVS is a bootleg so making it not to work in my aes using phantom1 or the phantom don't work with modified consoles????

what is the problem?

Chill out. Some games don't work with the phantom-1.
You may want to sell it right now, so you don't have to
take so much of a loss on it. You need :help:

The Phantom-1 is an unofficial and FLAWED product. If you want to play MVS games with no problems you need an MVS board. This has been well documented now on this forum. Sorry.

That is why you read before you buy. How can someone spend $500+ on something with out researching first? You must have money to burn.. BTW what board revision is on your neo? It may be that and not the phantom. Some peeps have trouble with scaling with games such as Last Blade2 and the phantom because of the board revision they have. If you have a friend with an aes system, bring your phantom over to his/her house and try it there. Or find some neo junkies that live around you in these forums, im sure they'd be more than willing to spend an evening with MS5.

Personally, I think the Phantom-1 is an awesome product.

All the games I've tried with it run flawlessly...
And I believe an AES console + Phantom-1 can be as good as any consoled 1-slot or whatever, if you're lucky with your AES model/revision... Which seems to be my case.

My Phantom-1 will be just perfect once I've made a shell for it... :D

Anyway, SNKP deserves a kick in the ass if the new games continue to give problems to certain MVS boards... I don't care if they aren't Phantom compatible, as it's been said is unofficial, and anyway that's what AES carts are still being made for.
