I've been working hard on a portable MVS project... and finally .. finally I was able to get RGB signal on teh 10 inch Pioneer screen. I couldn't believe I was playing Garou on it.

This means that I am getting closer to finishing it. I am done with the design of the wooden frame and will start making it soon.

You guys are up for a treat. How would you like to see a portable NEO MVS with 10 inch foldable screen and a built in stick? Oh did I mention there is gonna be a neon glowing NEO logo on it too? :buttrock:

I am so damn excited it's unbelievable .. I am teh KING OF DA WORLD

No pictures yet. All I got so far is a board running on the screen. When I get my frame I will take pictures.

Portable as in Battery Powerd????

Or does it run like off an automotive power supply?

I would like to see it as well, mainly because I'm wondering how portable something can be if it has built-in arcade sticks.

I have been interested in hooking up RGB to a laptop screen for a while now but never really made an attempt.....

Could you explain the process of getting it hooked up to the screen?

Do any of you remember this guy that made the Neo Geo LT?

This guy made one over a year ago, but there are no built in joysticks.

Anyone know if he is a member of this site?

If I remember correctly, it is well over a year old. I believe I stumbled on that page before I came to Neo-Geo.com in Dec of 2000.

Did you try emailing him? He actually lives near me, or atleast did... in Santa Monica.

Hmmm?,

I tried to contact this guy and ask him a few questions a couple of months ago, but he never responded to my emails? I tried a few times before I gave up. I'm still interested in making something like this with a laptop w/ a 15" LCD. Everyone I talked to said that it would be to aggressive or hard to do, so I gave up. Maybe someone else will be able to do it. :annoyed:
