I realize this is a long shot but if anyone in the US has an old Commodore/Amiga monitor that can take RGB input, I would be interested in buying it. Obviously I'd pay for shipping, it must work and show picture in great condition. Sound working would be a plus too.

also, if anyone has the Neo Geo RGB cable, I'd like that too. Right now I'm having issues w/ my supergun's composite output (which I was warned would suck)

I don't have any spare monitors at the moment, but I can make you an RGB cable if you need one. Shoot me a PM if you're interested :)

Actually, I'm glad this thread is here. What's a good place to pick up RGB monitors? Other than eBay preferably.

Adam, if you check eBay for "rgb monitor", you'll get about 20 or so hits, with about 15 monitors, but the guy "vcrgary" wants quite a bit for the professional Sony combo monitors, which are quite nice. We're talking $450 reserve for a 12" monitor with NTSC, PAL, RGB, component, S-Video input which is pretty cool. But $450? Used? too much.

A decent Apple 12" RGB monitor will cost you $1-10 plus shipping. There's also a 14" Apple RGB monitor too fo' cheap.

You'll find them at garage sales & thrift stores pretty regularly if you're patient. Otherwise, you may be able to find some good ones at used computer stores or TV repair shops.

Searching ebay for "Sony PVM" and "Sony GVM" gives good results. Some monitors there are expensive, but you can get some wicked deals. One fellow was selling 25" Sony studio monitors for $125 with free shipping, and I saw a 20" GVM monitor (takes VGA also) go for $40 plus shipping last week.
