Super Limited Jack and Daxter Water Color on Canvas: $49 shipped.
This is a super collectable item as there are only 200 in the world!
Up for sale here is something very, very special.
When Jak and Daxter was launched in 2002, as a promotion Sony sent a special poster to the top 200 media outlets (magazines, television stations, etc.) in North America and Canada. The poster is a HUGE 47" tall by 35" wide.
It's not printed on the standard thin and shiny stock like most posters, but is actually printed on a stock very much like canvas used in oil paintings (but it'as also WAAAAY smoother than canvas). The text of it is simply amazing and it's THICK like maybe 10 sheets of white printer paper thick. The texture it add to the print is simply like nothing I've ever seen before; it's fricking awesome.
I took pix of if from a distance and close up to try and show how rich and deep the color is. In persons there are 2 major differences from anything I've ever seen:
#1. The printing looks like it is water color paint; it's wonderful and sits onthe paper in a very special way.
#2. The color is 5x more vibrant than in the pictures (and even in the picture they look awesome, but in person... "damn" is the only word. The close up of Jak's face give only SOME idea of how deep the coloration is.
All in all this is a VERY, VERY classy looking and feeling piece. Sony spent some big $ on these things asI could not imagine what it would cost due to the amazing materials used.
Furthermore there are only 200 of these in existence and each is numbered. I have #189 for sale (theres a picture of that #).
The COOLEST thing? The poster is autographed by there entire development team including Jason Rubin (the man behind Crash Bandicoot and top dog of Naughty God). I took pictures of the all sigs, with a special close up of Rubin's.
The poster has been in a tube its entire life and therefore is in 100% MINT condition. It will be shipped in a super strong tube to boot.
