Why does my Sengoku 3 display - MVS Slot Check when it is a Home Cart?

Does anyone know why the message on the black screen which appears right before the intro says:

MVS Slot Check
Ver.2 00/00/45

Do all the Sengoku3's display that message?

Ah I see so that shows up because of the debug bios.

I have the debug set on Home/ Japan Console right now tho, does that matter?

Nah, my kof 2000, rb2 and some other games also do it.
