It's been 9 months since the start. Robert Longmire (aka dirtboy69) PM'd me interested in trading his Capcom vs. SNK Card Fighter's Clash (SNK Ed.) for my Fatal Fury and Sonic Adventure games. Nearly a month and a half after the deal I PM'd him asking where my stuff was. He claimed he found it after reading the PM and that he found it laying about and that he could send it now. Since I had already sold off much of my Neo Geo Pocket stuff I wasn't interested and we agreed on a $35 compensation. Nothing happened. I PM'd him every week asking him where it was. After three weeks I upped my tone and gave him an ultimatum of either paying me or I post him up as a scammer. He gave me his petty "I just lost my job and I'm living on welfare" speech and I, never having encountered a scammer before, told him I could afford to wait. After a PM or two later, I never heard from him again. I forgot about the deal until about August/September and I decided to check all his posts. Apparently he never posted since May, so I look and, in luck, found he had a web page which had his email address in addition to his profile having the email address. I emailed him and he responded saying he'd send payment right away. I was very nice this time around and after a couple of weeks I was wondering what had happened. I tried again after forgetting for a month, and he still hasn't. A week ago, this poor 'welfare' used-to be responsive, fairly active member turned into a big enough idiot to think he could start trying to get into buying and selling, probably not even smart enough to check whether I was still posting at these forums or not, and posted a wanted post for xbox games to trade for virtual boy games (that in itself is a sign). I saw his post, posted a warning to anyong even fathoming to deal with him, then PM'd him. The first PM, thanks to the nifty new tracking system, I saw that he read. I was nice in that one. I sent another one since he apparently didn't respond to the first and it was a little more edgy. He still hasn't read that since I sent it 5 or so days ago though he's signed on twice at least.

A nice friend of mine at these forums tracked him at other forums buying/selling without even considering me. He knows he needs to pay me but thinks ignoring will work. He's not going to get far on the internet. I'll be putting together a list of forums he goes to and warning others.

The compensation was agreed to be $35 but still hasn't showed up in my paypal account. He should be at least temp-suspended. I remember a post at the old forum proclaiming someone else to be scammed by him. I'll go do some more digging into that tonight and check with that guy, but for now, I'm going to see if this will force him to clear his rep.

I'll give him 5 days.

Mr. Longmire, check your PM box

Uhh, I must be an idiot because I'm completely clueless.

EDIT: Is it because this is over $35? Well, I was interested in getting my money back and I wanted to warn others not to deal with him.

EDIT2: Ahhh...guess I was a little caught up in the moment. Edited the main message for...:loco: ness
