Sega Rally, without a doubt one of the BEST racers of the 32-bit generation.

After that, I'd suggest High Velocity Racing and perhaps Wipeout.

Definitely stay far away from any of the Daytona games. They're hideously awful! Bad control, chunky frame rate, broken powerslides...don't bother!

Not a lot to choose from.

Sega Rally
Daytona Championship Edition
High Velocity
Road Rash
Need for Speed

Racing games were not the Saturn's strong genre. Keep in mind though, these games were good back THEN. The market for racing games has since made these games obsolete in every single way.

For the time (1995), Daytona was better than anything else on the market. Sure it looked pretty bad, but the control and feel was spot on to the arcade.

Daytona Championship looks better, but controls different from the arcade version. Still good, IMO.

Yeah, Sonic R kicked ass. Once you master the bizzare control, it's super fun.
