What is it made of..?

Damn it's huge and heavy.(I was shocked). It's like softball.

The ball looks like it would have a light put underneath it..
Does it?
It's sort of see through..
I'm still opening all the boxes this stuff came in,it's all new...
But I'm not sure what holds the ball down in it's tray..I haven't found anything like that yet..
I have a sticker overlay but that won't hold it down...
It came with 3 other big stickers..Two Side Art SNK stickers and another big one that I don't know what it's for..

The Track Ball Says Happ Control..Do they still sell them?

I'm going to hang the large marquee on the wall..It's cool..

I'd love to see pictures of this kit in someones cab...
I'll do it after I get a second cab to put it in and take pics.

(Edit)..I found the book and another sheet..This may answer some questions.

Some trackballs do have a translucent ball that is illuminated by a light underneath.

Yeah they can, but the ball only really works with the MV-1B board with the extra adapter. (See the link to my page above).

I made a harness for RevQuixo so he can play Irritating Maze in his Candy cab. It was not too bad, but you have to pull +5V all the way to the control panel.

:mr_t: Noooo, you got it wrong again: $147 is the trackball *without* the ball, so a complete trackball is $194!!!!! :tickled:

Holy crap...if I lived near them I'd go to their sales department and see if they can keep a straight face when telling those prices...

The only way he could make you a custom harness is to implicitly how your cabinet is wired.

Briggs and I spent many months standardizing the molex connections and fiddling with the wiring to accomadate my Irritating Maze harness.

Incidently, there is no "top" piece to hold in the trackball....you mount it underneath a control panel...assuming you have drilled a hole for the trackball....and the control panel becomes the top piece.
