Here's dates for all of the SNKP games coming out next year according to EBgames.com and Gamestop.com. Of course delays are expected, but there's some titles on the lists that I don't think have been discussed as ports yet. I apologize if these have been posted already.

What about the GBA KOF EX2 game...? That seems like a crazy-fast port for KOF '03, though.

I doubt it. Until we're heard anything from SNK, these are just estimates and guesses. That's why most of the dates are on the 1st or 15th of a month. That's random Mondays, Tuesdays, Thursdays and Fridays. Doesn't sound likely.

Most shops put up everything that is even remotely likely to get a release. Brings in preorders and if nothing else, they get some interest on prepaid ones...

I assume that most of these games are coming, but I doubt these dates.

What?

No KOF 2k2 for PS2?

I have the DC version, but it'd be nice to have it in english too.

SSV for the PS2?

Only if they translate that damn story mode.

I know! I can't believe it'd be that fast, I honestly don't think we'll see it before may.

Just looked it up on ebgames.com:

King of Fighters EX2: Howling Blood
Pre-Order: Ships on 12/9/2003

$29.99

Publisher: ATLUS SOFTWARE

And SiegfriedFM, I know what you mean, that's why I posted about the dates subject to change (as we all know they will).

KOF EX2 was already released, published by Acclaim, if I'm not mistaken. But it was produced in miniscule quantities, which is why you don't see it at big retailers like EBGames (they sold out of their initial rev and they're not carrying it anymore). Same story with the first KOF EX and Guilty Gear Advance. You might still be able to find the US version of the game from an import shop, though.

Also, wasn't the American version of Metal Slug 3 for PS2 choked by Sony for quality assurance reasons? Anyone hear whether that was resolved?

June seems kind of late for SSV, i mean it is out now. Yet KOF2k3 which is not out will be on the PS2 by March. This list does not make sense.

KOF EX2 was axed by Acclaim before it reached shelves. It was recently picked up by Atlus for US distribution. And the Slug 3 vs. Sony thing was just speculation on some people's part to try and explain the constant delays.

I agree, the only explanation I can come up with is that they want to put KOF'03 out closer to the KOF '00-'01 release to get people who liked that to buy the new one (before the fickle next gen fans forget the name KOF). I don't see it coming out that soon though, it's just odd.

I still want to know, why the hell did they delay Metal Slug3 till my Birthday? I wanted it for Christmas! Not my birthday. I'll be able to earn enough money to buy a loose MVS cart of it before the PS2 verson even goes gold.

I definitely agree that these release dates can't be set in stone yet, especially that lightning fast conversion of KOF 2003. It does kick ass to see how many new releases look to be getting ports in the US. thanks for the great news (if its true) OmegaSaber!

That does seem aweful fast for a KoF2003 port. But it is similare to the way Capcom has marketed its 2d fighters in the past 3 or 4 years.

Maybe its part of SNK-P's new strategy. Or maybe... it'll get delayed. I know SNK-P would never delay a game, but stranger things have happend

What the fuck? Metal Slug 3 isn't coming out until April?! What in god's name could be constantly delaying the port? The damn thing is finished, all they need to do is change the region!!

Seriously, this is great news. Ports ahoy! Not everyone has $300+ to blow on a single game and this will allow many people to experience the joy of snk games.
