Converting to a 2-slot

Hey guys, right now i'm running a MV-1A in my machine and its completly jamma, cept for the 4th button...I've got pure mono sound and no select button....If I were to put a MV-2F into my cabinet what would I need to do...

I know I hafta add the select button and I've looked at the diagram...what pin on the jamma harness do I need to put it in just so i know i'm right?

Also will my mono sound work with the 2 slot...or do i HAVE to convert to stero to get it to work?

Wire the select button to either pin 26 or pin d on the Jamma connector. One rotates games in one direction, the other in the opposite direction. One wire from the switch goes to either pin and the other wire from the switch connects to ground.

You can try moving the mono audio connection positive over to pin 11 (from 10 on Jamma) plus move the audio negative over to a ground connection (since pin L isn't a ground connection with a MVS wiring scheme).

Or you can rewire the cab for Stereo audio.

Although I don't own a cab, this looks like the way I would go about this.

so pin L is + for Lefts speaker, 10 is + for Right speaker...seeing as my 1 speaker is already in L and 10 would it be easier for me to just use those two wires as they are, one running the existing speaker, and the other w/ nothing until i get another speaker?....if so where does the negative for the speaker go?

Yeah.... Run the + connections to the + on the proper speaker... Run the - connections off of the speakers to the ground.

Sweet Sweet Sweet....now I can have a 2 slot...I've gotten tired of switching out b/w SSII and Puzzle bobble for the girls...I'm very happy
