Just curious........ Anyone know how to replace the battery on an MVS board?

Where can I buy a new replacement battery for the MVS PCB?

Thanks!

Its a 3.6 volt 50maH Ni-Cd battery.
There are two types, one lays flat on the board the other is axial (leads comming out of each end, I think thats the later type)

Its easy to lift off the board, apply a reasonable amount of heat on the lead on the underside and lift off one side at a time. It may be glued down so carefully cut away the goo first.

Where to get them in the US ?
RS or Marplin probably have them in the UK.
I have some spares if anyones interested and unable to source them locally PM me.

Thanks for the info Toddy, that is exactly what I wanted to know.

Nruva had told me that these batteries can be bought at Radio Shack or Best Buy here in the US for like $5.00.

Im going to replace a few of my batteries soon.
