I'm looking at my candy cab, and the pic's pretty good. However, I can't help but think it's a BIT yellow... not much, but... you know. Anal retentive person. So I want to do a cap kit replacement. How hard is this to do by yourself? It's on a Neo Candy, BTW.

Thanks a ton. I won't have to pull anything out? It's a candy... again. I haven't looked at the directions you gave (I'm at work), but will soon.

The cap kit, I ASSUME, is for when monitors start losing color/go yellow/loose brightness? I'm sure this one's not as nice as my last, and I figure, what the hell.

Thanks again,
Spike

Yellowy images, sounds more like the video drives/biasing may need adjusting. If its slightly yellow the blue drive needs to be increased slightly. As the crt ages the gray scale tracking can alter. Do not attempt these adjustments if your not sure of what you are doing, otherwise you might end up going from bad to worse and or electrocuted.
Anyway a cap kit wouldnt do any harm. Additional to candycabs link there is also some info here.
