Just talked to Shawn briefly, and the carts have arrived.

His initial impressions:

"Wow, it's beautiful. US release looks wonderful. Japanese version is not so pretty, black text on the spine and no logo."

Pictures are forthcoming, I'm putting together a page for them as we speak.

I had a last minute shipping request for my package if at all possible... the e-mail explains all.

Good to here the game has arived. I can't wait till it gets here.

@Bobak... Give me a call on my cell phone later this afternoon if you get a chance. Going to see some movies you might be interested in, and of course SvC tomorrow needs to be discussed.

BTW, I'm doing this while Shawn is off packing our Neo Geo goodness, they have a LONG day ahead of them!

I got the thumbnails done, and here is the page where the pictures will be:

very nice
the english version looks better in every way except for the actual cart
ryus head is cut off too much on the front view of the cart
other than that, very nice

So what's the news? Are all of the packages out? Doesn't EMS shipping mean the package will arrive before noon?

VERY nice English insert

US insert looks sweet .....

One thing that immediately caught my attention was that the English insert DOESN'T have "frame" boarders that are usually present on the US inserts.

I always wondered why those were there in the first place - all it really does is cut off part of the scenery. Anyways, it looks much better w/o the boarders, not to mention teh sweetness of the English spine .....

Maybe I will pick one of these up after all ....

From what I know, they were going to ship all of the EMS packages right now, so they would make the 5PM deadline. They have all been packaged, etc.

That included all orders, including ones placed today, up to 4PM or so.

But this was just in quick discussion while trying to get into the server when we were being mauled by hits. I'm sure Shawn will elaborate more later.

So, as far as I know, US EMS people SHOULD get their copy tomorrow, unless you live in a place where the USPS does not do overnight. But, don't take this as gospel.
