Sadly, it looks like I will be returning my Panasonic PT-50LC13 LCD projection widescreen this week. It has developed some dead pixels and I am afraid that might be a reocurring theme if I have it replaced.

I think I am going to go back to a Tube set.

Toshiba 34HFX83 34" Widescreen.

Crutchfield sells the lower end version 34HF83.

The one I am going to get is the Cinema Series which has more features and an even better picture.

I've never seen a television in the US that accepts RGB. Oh well. Somehow we manage to live without it.

Sony use to put RGB inputs of some type on their high end XBR sets back in the late 80's. Dunno when they stopped it though.

im sure t.vs can be modded to RGB, it should be fairly simple just get the colors from the sorce of the tv, and a scart socket

Some of the new sets support VGA, which is a type of RGB. :)

DVI - probably not

VGA - Yep, run straight RGB into something like the XRGB2 type device to upscale the video to a VGA signal. Fairly costly solution though.
